Every hockey player has a story about learning to skate on the ponds or local rink. For Kevin & Mackenzie Murphy of Celly Hockey Co., their love for the game started at Schouler Park in North Conway, New Hampshire. Up until 1998, the fully outdoor sheet in the park served as the primary rink for hockey players in Mount Washington Valley, where the youth and high school hockey programs called home.
Although most players in North Conway have been calling @hamarenanh home for the last 26 years, @conwayrecnh still floods the rink each year, providing locals and visitors the opportunity to skate in front of the iconic 1874 train station.
